Equity Extends Contract with Travel Studio to Operate School Group Tours

Equity – the school travel company known for ski, adventure, and educational trips – is strengthening its commitment to efficiency by expanding its partnership with Travel Studio. This move will improve booking processes, enhance customer experience, and streamline back-office operations.

Over the past 2.5 years, the collaboration between Equity and Open Destinations has fostered a strong working relationship. Ian Davis, Director at Equity said,

“We have built a strong working relationship with the Open Destinations team during my time at Equity. I want to continue to nurture this partnership to enhance our use of Travel Studio, particularly in developing the group booking aspects,”

 

As Equity continues its growth trajectory, Travel Studio has played a pivotal role in supporting its expansion to support its sales, operations and finance teams. The platform’s improved functionalities and streamlined processes have helped the company operate more efficiently. Ian added,

With current features like group enquiry, customers have benefited from the platform’s ability to build, amend and send quotes faster. “It has enhanced our customer experience, but we hope the Sunstone launch will move this forward”, Ian added. From an operational perspective, Travel Studio has contributed to Equity’s ability to manage a leaner and more productive team by automating complex booking processes and reporting. Ian mentioned, “We are running a far more efficient headcount than in previous years.”
