Travel technology specialist Open Destinations will be introducing their new Package Builder module for the first time at this year’s ITB Asia and World Travel Market. This new module is the latest addition to the company’s Travel Studio reservations platform, which is currently live in travel businesses across more than 30 countries.
Open Destinations has hired travel industry specialist Mike Russell as their new Chief Operating Officer. Russell brings over 15 years of experience within the sector in the areas of leisure travel and travel technology, having led both Vertical Systems and Comtec and held senior roles in a number of travel businesses.
Travel technology firm Open Destinations has launched a computer literacy programme for underprivileged children in the local Goan community. This initiative is the result of a collaboration with non-profit NGO Lifeline Foundation, which has been working in the field of health and education for the underprivileged for the last 18 years.
